The College of Dentistry's infectious disease team, with input from practicing dental professionals, designed this course to give you practical information on HIV/AIDS in an on-line, self-study format. The course includes reading material, graphical examples, and a post-test.
HIV and Tuberculosis: A Spark that Lights the Fire
Dr. David Ashkin exhibits a clinical case study of TB, including photographs, x-rays, treatment and results. Epidemiology and statistics are also presented, along with the relationship between HIV and TB. Diagnosis of TB infection, treatment tools and guidelines, and public health goals for TB are additional components of this training.
