DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

The USF Center for HIV Education and Research and the Florida/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center are located at the Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI), University of South Florida. The Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI) is located on the northwest corner of the University of South Florida campus at the corner of Fletcher Ave. and Bruce B. Downs Blvd. (also known as 30th St.)

From the Airport, (20 minutes) - take I-275 North towards Tampa, (NOT across the bridge to St. Petersburg). Take the Fletcher Ave. exit and proceed eastbound (right) on Fletcher. Just after Bruce B. Downs Blvd. (30th St.) will be the entrance to the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute on the right hand side of Fletcher Ave. Enter the driveway and proceed to the left to obtain a parking permit in Lot 38-T or to obtain one from the AETC/USF Center. We suggest parking in Lot 38-T. The entrance to the AETC/USF Center is located across the street from Lot 38-T. Cross the street and proceed to the covered walkway, at the end of the walkway make a right. Our front door is to the right and is clearly marked.

From I-4, take I-75 North (towards Ocala). Take the Fletcher Ave. exit and proceed West (left). From Fletcher Ave., just past Magnolia Ave., enter the left turn lane, the entrance to the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute will be on the left hand side of Fletcher Ave. Enter the driveway and proceed to the left to obtain a parking permit in Lot 38-T or to obtain one from the AETC/USF Center. We suggest parking in Lot 38-T. The entrance to the AETC/USF Center is located across the street from Lot 38-T. Cross the street and proceed to the covered walkway, at the end of the walkway make a right. Our front door is to the right and is clearly marked.

 PARKING PERMITS: Parking permits are required for all USF parking lots. You may purchase a visitor parking permit from one of the machines located in Lot 38-T or in Lot 38-C for $4.00 in dollar bills and/or coins. You may also purchase visitor permits at the main USF entrance on Fowler Ave. You may park only in Lot 38-T (grass lot) or in Lot 38-C.
