Micaela Gibbs, DDS
Panelists:
Philippe A. Bilger, DDS, MPH
Charles W. Hoffman, DMD, PhD
Nancy C. Zinser, RDH, MS

This session will provide a didactic overview of the impact of oral health on systemic diseases (Cardiovascular/Cerbrovascular). This correlation is of particular concern for us in the care of the aging HIV population. The attendee will be presented a ‘Minimum Dental Standard of Care for HIV patients’ developed for this conference by academic dental clinicians. Adequate time will be allowed for audience discussion with the expert panel dental issues and barriers we face as providers. These panel leaders will assist us in identifying future solutions for the needs of our patients.
