Central Office

The Florida/Caribbean AETC central office operates within the USF Center for HIV Education and Research at the University of South Florida's (USF's) College of Behavioral and Community Sciences; Department of Mental Health Law and Policy, in collaboration with the USF College of Medicine's Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Internal Medicine, the Department of Pediatrics, and the Department of Psychiatry. Our central office is responsible for program planning and implementation, faculty coordination, data collection and analysis, marketing, and all elements of the grant process. Persons interested in obtaining training or wishing to create professional partnerships should contact our central office. We will work with our training partners throughout the region to help you to meet your needs.

From the Airport, (20 minutes) - take I-275 North towards Tampa, (NOT across the bridge to St. Petersburg). Take the Fletcher Ave. exit and proceed eastbound (right) on Fletcher. Just after Bruce B. Downs Blvd. (30th St.) will be the entrance to the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute on the right hand side of Fletcher Ave. Enter the driveway and proceed to the left to obtain a parking permit in Lot 38-T or to obtain one from the AETC/USF Center. We suggest parking in Lot 38-T. The entrance to the AETC/USF Center is located across the street from Lot 38-T. Cross the street and proceed to the covered walkway, at the end of the walkway make a right. Our front door is to the right and is clearly marked.

From I-4, take I-75 North (towards Ocala). Take the Fletcher Ave. exit and proceed West (left). From Fletcher Ave., just past Magnolia Ave., enter the left turn lane, the entrance to the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute will be on the left hand side of Fletcher Ave. Enter the driveway and proceed to the left to obtain a parking permit in Lot 38-T or to obtain one from the AETC/USF Center. We suggest parking in Lot 38-T. The entrance to the AETC/USF Center is located across the street from Lot 38-T.
